Hi there....
So glad you stopped by. I finished my monthly challenge for the group I'm in and couldn't wait to share it with you. This month we celebrated our very first year of our image challenge. Each one picks a month and chooses the image they want each of us to do. Then we do our take on it. It has been so much fun! What I like is sometimes we are introduced to new companies we didn't even know was out there and believe me I found a few I just had to get more from. Okay I've rattled on long enough. The card I made is for my granddaughter Madison that turns the "Big 1" on the 2nd of January. It seems she just got here, now she will be a year old. Wow where does time go.

The image is from Hangler Stangler..they are just adorable. I added a few ladybugs, seeing as that was what her room was done in.

Hi Everyone!!!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!! I survived and yes I had a wonderful Christmas.

The card I made to share is done with an image our secret sister group did for December. I barely got this done it time, but I did it. It's a Nellie Snellen image "Hokey Pokey Fairy". I had so much fun coloring her, she is so cute.
I have the whole week off till after the first of the year, so anyone who needs me I will be playing in my craftroom...lol

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there!!!! God blessed me twice with two wonderful mother's. My mom June and my mother-in-law Linda. Anniversary!!

Today me and my husband will have been together eight wonderful years. It's the day we met. We celebrate it as our anniversary..crazy huh. We had decided to get married on this day, but for some strange reason everytime we planned it..it just got postponed. So my husband surprised me with a trip to Eureka Springs, AR. My MIL, youngest son and my DBIL where there. It was wonderful. We stood on a cliff over looking the town to exchange our vows, but it never change how we felt about the day to celebrate our Anniversary. So there you have it. Probably more info than you cared to know. lol.

Butterfly Tilda

Hi everyone!!! I think Spring is finally trying to show it's face around here. Beautiful blue skies today and nice temperatures. I'm so ready for spring.

I played hooky from work today, but only to see if I can work on my washing machine again. I have replaced about everything on it and it stills refuses to spin out. Urrr!! I cannot imagine going to long with out it.

I decided to play some in the craftroom to calm my nerves. I found some really fun challenges to enter, so I created a little cute Tilda with butterflies. She is so cute and reminds me of spring.

I used my copics to color her and the smooshing technique (I think thats what is called) to go around her. I hope I did it right. It was fun anyway. It did help calm my nerves and I have decided to take it to the Maytag place and see if they can fix it. Crossing-fingers that it does not cost to much.

I got home last Thursday feeling great and ready to get some card making done. Only to wake up Friday morning feeling bad. I had intense sinus pressure that made me dizzy, which caused me to stay nauseated. Ended up missing work Monday. I'm feeling better and came on to work today.

I'm on a vintage and make my own flower kick. Making my own flowers is mostly because I don't have much in my inventory right now. Needing to still do some major shopping, but isn't crafty making things out of with what you have. Sounded good. lol .

I salvaged this image from a oops I made on it. It was the only image I had of it too. I wanted to see if I could save it. I tried covering the ink mark I got on it in the corner. Made my own flowers to cover it. It was fun and very challenging.

Sunflower Bear

My MIL gave me this image to color when I was first introduced to copic markers. I instantly fell in love with them of course and this little bear. I'm a big sunflower fan too. It has always lifted my spirits for some reason. I had made this flower out of some punches I had and it kinda reminded me of a sunflower or daisy. Soo of course I knew I would use it on this card.

Looks like another beautiful day here in Oklahoma!!!! I have my shades pulled and letting in the sunshine. My weekend is going to be me in and out of my craftroom, as much as I love to make cards and I need some sunrays. After all this bad weather and being stuck in door's..I'm in need of some outdoor time.

The Tilda that I did here is one that I colored during the nasty weather we had two weeks ago. My MIL was here visiting, so we sat at my kitchen table and had snacks and colored all day. I had so much fun!!

I finished her today and wanted to share it. Still working on my layouts and embellishing.

February Challenge

This is the card I did for a Challenge I was in. My sweet MIL and her friends welcomed me to their once a month challenge. This will be a lot of fun.

I still do not have all the goodies , so a lot of this is done with what I have. I made the oval tag with a stencil and blade. The border around it was done by using a edging punch I had and lined it around the tag. I got the idea from Dena, she does awesome cards. All in all it was challenging and fun. Hope you enjoy.

One of the cards I made while my DMIL was visiting last week. Time got away and didn't have time to post before going to work for the week. Got to come home early from work and thought I better get in here and post something before everyone gave up on me.

This little guy was in some images that where sent to me. I'm not real sure what stamp this is, but thought he was so cute. I'm really enjoying getting back into making cards.

This yucky weather has gave me the chance to be home..so I guess there is always some good with the bad.

Planning on trying to pick my mother-in-law up tomorrow for a few day's. Crossing finger's we get to do it this time. Please weather hold out just a little longer till we get her back here.
