Got the day off today, so taking the day to get caught up on housework and bill paying..yuk. 

I made this card yesterday, but just now posting it. An image my DMIL shared with me. 

Still working on putting my cards together. Just need to keep practicing (that's what I keep telling myself anyway). lol

Sunflower Tilda

What a week... so much has happened. I'm praying for a better one.
Let's see this card was inspired by my DH, he said I needed brighter color's on my cards. So, I took his advice and found some bright flower's and some dp I had . Sunflower Tilda just seemed like the image to use.
This is to my DH, hope he likes it.

I received this photo from my son and thought I just had to share it. I thought it was just to cute. She is ready for summer..lol

My First...

I couldn't stand it anymore. I keep seeing the most gorgeous easel cards. My MIL makes the most adorable ones, so here is my attempt at one.
I'm on a vintage and make my own flower kick. Making my own flowers is mostly because I don't have much in my inventory right now. Needing to still do some major shopping, but isn't crafty making things out of with what you have. Sounded good. lol .

Tilda with Hearts

I salvaged this image from a oops I made on it. It was the only image I had of it too. I wanted to see if I could save it. I tried covering the ink mark I got on it in the corner. Made my own flowers to cover it. It was fun and very challenging.

Sunflower Bear

My MIL gave me this image to color when I was first introduced to copic markers. I instantly fell in love with them of course and this little bear. I'm a big sunflower fan too. It has always lifted my spirits for some reason. I had made this flower out of some punches I had and it kinda reminded me of a sunflower or daisy. Soo of course I knew I would use it on this card.

Violet Tilda

Looks like another beautiful day here in Oklahoma!!!! I have my shades pulled and letting in the sunshine. My weekend is going to be me in and out of my craftroom, as much as I love to make cards and I need some sunrays. After all this bad weather and being stuck in door's..I'm in need of some outdoor time.

The Tilda that I did here is one that I colored during the nasty weather we had two weeks ago. My MIL was here visiting, so we sat at my kitchen table and had snacks and colored all day. I had so much fun!!

I finished her today and wanted to share it. Still working on my layouts and embellishing.

February Challenge

This is the card I did for a Challenge I was in. My sweet MIL and her friends welcomed me to their once a month challenge. This will be a lot of fun.

I still do not have all the goodies , so a lot of this is done with what I have. I made the oval tag with a stencil and blade. The border around it was done by using a edging punch I had and lined it around the  tag. I got the idea from Dena, she does awesome cards. All in all it was challenging and fun. Hope you enjoy.

One of the cards I made while my DMIL was visiting last week. Time got away and didn't have time to post before going to work for the week. Got to come home early from work and thought I better get in here and post something before everyone gave up on me.

I feel bad I haven't been able to post anything, but I'm working out of town this week. I was not able to bring any craftie's with me. Hope to post something this weekend.

Buggy Love

This little guy was in some images that where sent to me. I'm not real sure what stamp this is, but thought he was so  cute. I'm really enjoying getting back into making cards.

This yucky weather has gave me the chance to be home..so I guess there is always some good with the bad. 

Planning on trying to pick my mother-in-law up tomorrow for a few day's. Crossing finger's we get to do it this time. Please weather hold out just a little longer till we get her back here.

I have been busy trying to get my craft room and house in order for my mother-in-law's visit. I'm so excited, will pick her up Friday unless the weather changes our planes. Then some shopping we will go...
