Baby Aleeyah

Hi Everyone!!! Hope your week starts out good, so far not so good here. My grandson that is staying with us is running a fever this morning and we live four almost five hours from his mommy. 

This card that I made was for our newest addition to the family. "Aleeyah Kenliegh Smith" She is beautiful. 

Don't you just love the paper. I found this at a scrapbook store that my MIL took me to this weekend.

Mo Manning for May Challenge

Hi Everyone!!!  So glad to be home for the weekend. It seemed like a long week for me this time. 

I was able to finish my card I did for the May image swap challenge I'm in. This month Denise chose a Mo Manning image. Too cute. 

I colored with my copics of course and added some stickle for the glitter. I used the LOTV circular sentiment stamp.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there!!!! God blessed me twice with two wonderful mother's. My mom June and my mother-in-law Linda. I was also blessed with being the mom to six boy's and one girl. (bless her heart..lol). Mother's are one of God's most precious gifts to us. I thank him often for blessing me with mine.
This card is for my DMIL. I used the sketch challenge for this week for my inspiration. So , come on over and please join us this week  at "The Corrosive Challenge."

Easter Bunnies

Happy Easter!!!! I wish everyone a very blessed day today. I am lucky to be celebrating it with family. Easter egg hunt is in store for the little ones and lots of good food for everyone.

Today's Corrosive Challenge is Animals. I decided it being Easter, how about some Easter bunnies. I have always loved this SU stamp I purchased years ago. Home Sweet Home Corrosive Challenge

My first card as a DT  for The Corrosive Challenge. The challenge for this week is Home Sweet Home, and there is no place like home. This was such a fun card to do. As I dug through some stamps I had for awhile I came across this adorable little house. I knew this was the one I was going to do. The saying around the little house I thought was a bonus.

Anniversary!!

Today me and my husband will have been together eight wonderful years. It's the day we met. We celebrate it as our anniversary..crazy huh. We had decided to get married on this day, but  for some strange reason everytime we planned it..it just got postponed. So my husband surprised me with a trip to Eureka Springs, AR. My MIL, youngest son and my DBIL where there. It was wonderful. We stood on a cliff over looking the town to exchange our vows,  but it never change how we felt about the day to celebrate our Anniversary. So there you have it.   Probably more info than you cared to know. lol.
I'm off to share the day with my DH...Happy Anniversary Honey!!

Butterfly Tilda

Hi everyone!!! I think Spring is finally trying to show it's face around here. Beautiful blue skies today and nice temperatures. I'm so ready for spring.

I played hooky from work today, but only to see if I can work on my washing machine again. I have replaced about everything on it and it stills refuses to spin out. Urrr!! I cannot imagine going to long with out it. 

I decided to play some in the craftroom to calm my nerves. I found some really fun challenges to enter, so I created a little cute Tilda with butterflies. She is so cute and reminds me of spring. 

I used my copics to color her and the smooshing technique (I think thats what is called) to go around her. I hope I did it right. It was fun anyway. It did help calm my nerves and I have decided to take it to the Maytag place and see if they can fix it. Crossing-fingers that it does not cost to much.

Unproductive Weekend!!

I got home last Thursday feeling great and ready to get some card making done. Only to wake up Friday morning feeling bad. I had intense sinus pressure that made me dizzy, which caused me to stay nauseated. Ended up missing work Monday. I'm feeling better and came on to work today.
Crossingfingers I stay well  for our trip to see my MIL and the grandkids this weekend.
